Citrus Farm

​​The land is well suited for use as a citrus farm, with approximately 950ha (of the currently cleared 987ha) being ideally suited.

As the intention is to allow for the development of a citrus farm, the following basic soil conditions are considered desirable:

• Permeable, well drained and aerated

• Ability to store sufficient water for plant use, while not having inhibited drainage

• Loose enough to allow free root and water penetration to the desired depth; the porosity should be stable to the impact of rainfall, erosion, wetting and drying cycles and machinery traffic

• Free from salts and toxic substances

• Neither strongly acidic nor strongly alkaline.
